Looking for the perfect location for your next special event? Our restaurant on the ground floor of a Victorian building provides a number of spaces to suit your occasion, each with a distinctly old-school San Francisco vibe.

THE BACK PORCH

The back porch offers a semi-private indoor setting, making it an ideal choice for parties of up to 20 guests. Tucked away at the quieter end of the main dining are, this cozy space features large windows with a scenic view of our garden, making it the perfect spot for celebrating special moments with family, friends, or colleagues. 

• Parties up to 10 easily accommodated with no special pricing or fixed menu... Order a la carte as you like!

• Parties of 11- 20 usually have the whole room to themselves with a dedicated service team. We have a $60 per person minimum spend and we are super flexible with how you get there... We can customize a $60 menu with four courses for you, or you can just order away as you please, as long as you get to $60 per person, including drinks!

THE GARDEN

Hidden at the back of the restaurant, the garden offers a unique outdoor setting under a canopy of Angel's Trumpet, Lemon, and Loquat trees. When the timing is right, the night-blooming jasmine and Angel's Trumpet flowers make the evening air smell magical. This charming and secluded space has five tables, each built around their own heater. Parties of up to 12 can be accommodated with no special menu or pricing.

Private Party in the Garden FULL NIGHT

Have a larger group? The garden is suitable for a sit-down dinner for up to 25 or passed apps and drinks for a standing reception of 35. It is the best option for intimate gatherings like:

Full evening garden rental available from 5 pm - 10:00 pm for $90 per person, $1500 minimum

Private Party in the Garden HALF NIGHT Early

Garden all yours for the first half of the evening: Five tables each built around their own heater. Enjoy passed apps and drinks, a formal sit-down dinner, or some combination of the two. 
5 pm - 7:30 pm, perfect for pre-gaming the magic show at The Magic Patio next door.
Half-evening is $60 per person food and beverage minimum, $780.00 minimum.

Private Party in the Garden HALF NIGHT Late

For those who like to get started a little later: Five tables each built around their own heater. Enjoy passed apps and drinks, a formal sit-down dinner, or some combination of the two. 
The garden is all yours from 7:30-10:30 pm (birthdays, receptions, graduations, celebrations!)
Half-evening is $60 per person food and beverage minimum, $780.00 minimum.

WHOLE RESTAURANT BUYOUT

Whether you're celebrating a wedding, birthday, or professional milestone, Blue Plate offers a personalized buyout package with a custom menu and awesome wine pairings. Our restaurant can accommodate up to 60 guests, with options for a seated dinner or a reception-style mixer. 

Lunch: $250 deposit + $3500 food & beverage minimum

Dinner: $500 deposit + $7000 food & beverage minimum

Our fully equipped kitchen is here to bring your pop-up vision to life! If you are interested in using our space on Sundays or Mondays, don't hesitate to reach out - we'd love to hear from you whether it's a one-time event or recurring weekly series.
